Iron-based glaze fired in reduction to produce jade-like green, blue-green, or grey-green colors. Ancient Chinese and Korean tradition (Song Dynasty, Goryeo Dynasty). Small amounts of iron oxide (1-3%) in reduction create the characteristic color. Among the most revered glazes in ceramic history.
